Downwinds in Brazil

The Best KiteSafaris in the World

Downwinds along the Northeast of Brazil

When it comes to Kitesafaris, Brazil offers the best and widest variety hands down thanks to its geographical location and trade winds which blow from June all the way through to February. In the northeast of Brazil you will discover a mind-blowing 1200 km of coastline kitesurfing downwind. The wind blows constantly side-on-shore along the entire coast which allows you to kitesurf from spot to spot following the direction of the wind whilst enjoying and testing all types of conditions on the crossings. With its unique and magnificent landscapes, mammoth dunes, caribbean watered lagoons only accessible by sea and the endless possibilities to kite every condition imaginable makes Brazil the ultimate kitesurfing destination.

We would never assign more than 12 people to a group and we put all our efforts into making sure that everyone in the group has a similar level. This way, the downwinds flow according to the riders rhythm and above all, safety.

The 4x4 support vehicles always follow the downwinders along the beach (where feasible), allowing riders to stop and rest or change material whenever necessary. There is always a minimum of 1 guide in the water at all times leading the group and when many, another guide is assigned to cover the tail of the riders, providing the utmost control and safety for the group.

Travelling by kite from point to point, exploring new places is an incredible experience. During the journey we always stop for a minimum of 2 nights in each place allowing enough time to get to know all the surrounding spots and to rest. You will sleep in beautiful pousadas only a few metres from the sea and you will get to submerge yourself into their vibrant and diverse culture.

We offer five different Kite Safaris. Pick the one that suits you best and begin your adventure now. What are you waiting for?

* If you cannot find a Kite Safari that interests you, do not hesitate to get in touch with us as we will do our very best to create one that works for you.
